PAR LED lamps for focused and professional lighting

PAR LED lamps are designed to produce a defined and concentrated beam of light. They provide an efficient alternative to traditional halogen PAR lamps and are used in shops, window displays, restaurants, hotels, galleries, showrooms, homes and other spaces where a particular area needs to be illuminated or highlighted.

At DomiLED you will find PAR LED bulbs in different sizes, power ratings, luminous outputs, beam angles and colour temperatures. Their integrated reflector directs the light forwards, providing more controlled illumination than a conventional bulb with wide light distribution.

Differences between PAR20, PAR30 and PAR38

  • PAR20: a compact format suitable for small spotlights, display windows, cabinets and accent lighting.
  • PAR30: provides a larger illuminated area and is commonly used in shops, restaurants, galleries and ceiling luminaires.
  • PAR38: has a larger diameter and can produce a more powerful beam for high ceilings, larger spaces and certain outdoor applications.

The PAR number indicates the approximate lamp diameter in eighths of an inch. Before ordering, check the dimensions, cap type and available space inside the luminaire.

Beam angle and light output

The beam angle determines how the light is distributed. A narrow beam concentrates illumination on products, artwork, architectural features or decorative objects. A wider beam covers a larger surface and provides more uniform lighting.

Compare the number of lumens to determine the total light output. For accent lighting, luminous intensity measured in candelas can also be useful because it indicates how strongly the light is concentrated in the centre of the beam.

Colour temperature and outdoor use

Warm white creates a comfortable atmosphere in homes, restaurants and hotels. Neutral white displays colours clearly in shops and exhibition areas, while cool white provides brighter illumination for work and functional spaces.

For outdoor use, make sure both the PAR bulb and the luminaire have a suitable IP protection rating against water and dust. If the installation uses a brightness controller, choose a dimmable PAR LED lamp and verify that the dimmer is compatible with LED technology.
