More info

The submersible LED PAR56 bulb delivers 36W in cool white 6000K and is designed for DC12V operation, making it suitable for replacing pool halogen spotlights. With an IP68 protection rating, it can operate with complete and continuous immersion. The lens optics are friction-welded and developed for underwater lighting, providing an even light distribution around the pool while helping reduce glare. Built from 316 stainless steel and rated IK10 for impact resistance, it helps prevent the breakage commonly seen with plastic or glass pool luminaires when impacts occur underwater. Suitable for pools, ponds, and fountains, and compatible with our housing reference 8212.

Durability and Material Advantages

Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this LED PAR56 bulb resists corrosion and withstands harsh aquatic environments, extending product lifespan in outdoor water features. Its IK10 impact rating enhances resistance to mechanical shocks, minimizing damage risks in pools or fountains compared to traditional plastic or glass lamps.

Optical Performance Underwater

The lens optics use friction-welding technology tailored for underwater applications, delivering uniform 120° beam distribution. This design helps reduce glare within the water, contributing to a visually comfortable aquatic ambiance suitable for pools, ponds, and fountains.

Installation and Application Versatility

Designed for DC12V operation, it integrates easily as a direct replacement for traditional halogen spotlights in pool lighting setups. Compatibility with housing reference 8212 ensures straightforward installation and integration into various outdoor aquatic lighting projects.

PAR LED lamps for focused and professional lighting

PAR LED lamps are designed to produce a defined and concentrated beam of light. They provide an efficient alternative to traditional halogen PAR lamps and are used in shops, window displays, restaurants, hotels, galleries, showrooms, homes and other spaces where a particular area needs to be illuminated or highlighted.

At DomiLED you will find PAR LED bulbs in different sizes, power ratings, luminous outputs, beam angles and colour temperatures. Their integrated reflector directs the light forwards, providing more controlled illumination than a conventional bulb with wide light distribution.

Differences between PAR20, PAR30 and PAR38

  • PAR20: a compact format suitable for small spotlights, display windows, cabinets and accent lighting.
  • PAR30: provides a larger illuminated area and is commonly used in shops, restaurants, galleries and ceiling luminaires.
  • PAR38: has a larger diameter and can produce a more powerful beam for high ceilings, larger spaces and certain outdoor applications.

The PAR number indicates the approximate lamp diameter in eighths of an inch. Before ordering, check the dimensions, cap type and available space inside the luminaire.

Beam angle and light output

The beam angle determines how the light is distributed. A narrow beam concentrates illumination on products, artwork, architectural features or decorative objects. A wider beam covers a larger surface and provides more uniform lighting.

Compare the number of lumens to determine the total light output. For accent lighting, luminous intensity measured in candelas can also be useful because it indicates how strongly the light is concentrated in the centre of the beam.

Colour temperature and outdoor use

Warm white creates a comfortable atmosphere in homes, restaurants and hotels. Neutral white displays colours clearly in shops and exhibition areas, while cool white provides brighter illumination for work and functional spaces.

For outdoor use, make sure both the PAR bulb and the luminaire have a suitable IP protection rating against water and dust. If the installation uses a brightness controller, choose a dimmable PAR LED lamp and verify that the dimmer is compatible with LED technology.

Explore our selection of PAR20, PAR30 and PAR38 LED lamps and find the correct power, beam angle and light colour for focused, efficient and durable lighting.
