Differences between PAR20, PAR30 and PAR38
- PAR20: a compact format suitable for small spotlights, display windows, cabinets and accent lighting.
- PAR30: provides a larger illuminated area and is commonly used in shops, restaurants, galleries and ceiling luminaires.
- PAR38: has a larger diameter and can produce a more powerful beam for high ceilings, larger spaces and certain outdoor applications.
The PAR number indicates the approximate lamp diameter in eighths of an inch. Before ordering, check the dimensions, cap type and available space inside the luminaire.
Beam angle and light output
