More info

This 24V LED strip comes in a 10-meter length with 60 LEDs per meter, designed to deliver bright, even illumination. It uses SMD2025 technology for more uniform light distribution and a longer service life. With a 30° beam angle, you can direct the light more precisely—ideal for applications where a controlled beam is preferred. It offers 10W/m power and CRI90 for high-quality color rendering. Protection rating: IP20, suitable for indoor use.

Versatile Color Temperature Options

The LED strip is offered in three distinct color temperatures: 2700K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), and 5700K (Cool White). This variety enables customization to suit different ambiances and interior styles, ensuring the light complements the specific environment and design preferences.

Installation and Operating Conditions

Designed for indoor use with an IP20 ingress protection rating, this LED strip is best suited for dry environments. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -25°C to 60°C, allowing it to function efficiently in typical indoor temperature conditions.

Electrical and Technical Characteristics

The product runs on a 24V power supply and supports standard mains frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz. The LED type SMD2025 contributes to a compact and streamlined design with efficient light output, tailored for applications requiring focused illumination via its 30° beam angle.

Frequently Asked Questions

24V DC LED strips for linear lighting and longer runs

24V DC LED strips provide an efficient way to create continuous lighting in homes, shops, offices, hotels, restaurants and architectural projects. They are used in kitchens, furniture, ceilings, shelves, display cabinets, stairs, shop windows and working areas requiring a discreet and adaptable installation.

At DomiLED you will find 24-volt LED strip lights with different power ratings, LED densities, luminous outputs, colour temperatures and IP protection ratings. Their operating voltage makes them particularly suitable for longer runs and higher-power lighting systems.

Differences between 24V and 12V LED strips

For the same power, a 24V strip requires approximately half the current of a 12V strip. This helps reduce voltage drop, cable heating and visible differences in brightness along the installation.

For this reason, 24V LED strips are widely used in commercial projects, furniture lighting, ceiling lines and installations requiring several metres of continuous light. The maximum practical length still depends on the power consumption and circuit design of each strip.

While 12V strips often provide shorter cutting intervals, many 24V models have a greater distance between cutting points. If the project requires precise lengths, check the cutting interval before selecting the strip.

Power supply for a 24V LED strip

A 24V DC LED strip must not be connected directly to a 230V electrical supply. It requires a compatible 230V to 24V DC power supply with sufficient capacity for the complete installation.

Calculate the required size by multiplying the strip’s consumption per metre by the installed length. For example, a strip consuming 12 W per metre over a ten-metre run will have a theoretical load of 120 W. Include additional capacity so the power supply does not continuously operate at its maximum output.

The strip and power supply must use the same voltage. A 12V supply will not power a 24V strip correctly, while an excessively high voltage may immediately damage the circuit.

Voltage drop over long runs

Although 24V systems allow longer runs, they can still experience voltage loss. This may appear as a gradual reduction in brightness or a colour variation towards the end of the strip.

Use cables with a suitable cross-section, limit the length of each section and add intermediate power injection points when required. The strip can also be powered from both ends or divided into several runs connected in parallel to the power supply.

Warm, neutral, cool white, CCT and RGB

Warm white strips create a comfortable atmosphere in living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants and hotels. Neutral white provides balanced illumination for kitchens, shops, offices and displays. Cool white produces a brighter appearance for technical spaces and working areas.

24V CCT LED strips allow the colour temperature to be adjusted with a compatible controller. RGB strips produce different colours, while RGBW and RGB+CCT systems combine coloured effects with dedicated white-light channels.

The controller must support the voltage, number of channels and total connected power. Signal amplifiers or several controllers may be needed when the installation exceeds the capacity of a single device.

Cutting, connection and aluminium profiles

LED strips should only be cut at the points indicated by the manufacturer. Observe the polarity when making connections and use connectors that match the strip width and number of electrical contacts.

Installation inside an aluminium LED strip profile improves the finish, protects the circuit and assists with heat dissipation. An opal diffuser can reduce the visibility of individual LED points and produce a more uniform line of light.

IP protection for damp and outdoor areas

For bathrooms, kitchens, terraces, façades and areas exposed to moisture, choose a strip with a suitable IP rating. Cutting points, connectors, ends and cable entries must also be protected, as an open connection can compromise the protection of the complete installation.
