Professional 220V LED strip rated at 20W/m, 50 meters long, with 140 LEDs per meter using SMD2835 chips. Designed for outdoor use with IP67 protection, it provides a 120° light distribution and high light output per meter. The strip is self-adhesive for easier installation and can be cut and connected following the marked copper zone every 10 cm. It is also TRIAC dimmable and does not require an additional power supply.

LED strips and flexible neon for linear and decorative lighting

LED strips and flexible neon make it possible to create continuous lines of light, illuminate furniture and highlight architectural features with a discreet and adaptable installation. They are used in homes, shops, restaurants, hotels, window displays, offices, terraces, signs and decorative projects.

Differences between LED strips and flexible neon

LED strip lights contain small diodes mounted on a flexible circuit. They are suitable for installation under cabinets, on shelves, around ceilings, inside display cases, along stairs, in aluminium profiles and in areas where the light source can remain concealed.

Flexible LED neon uses a diffusing cover that hides the individual LED points and produces a more uniform line of light. It is suitable for outlines, shapes, signs, façades, decorative walls and applications where the illuminated line remains visible.

How to choose an LED strip

Power consumption per metre and luminous output determine how much electricity the strip uses and how much light it produces. A moderate output may be sufficient for ambient lighting, while worktops, shop displays and working areas usually require a brighter strip.

The operating voltage must also be checked. Low-voltage LED strips require a correctly sized compatible power supply. Calculate the required power according to the consumption per metre and total installation length, including a safety margin so the power supply does not continuously operate at its maximum capacity.

Warm, neutral, cool white, RGB and RGBW

Warm white strips create a comfortable atmosphere in living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants and hotels. Neutral white provides balanced illumination for kitchens, shops and working areas, while cool white creates a brighter and more technical appearance.

RGB LED strips allow different colours to be selected through a controller. RGBW strips also include a dedicated white-light channel, providing more practical white illumination in addition to coloured effects. A compatible controller is required to adjust brightness or change colours.

Installation, cutting and IP protection

LED strips and flexible neon should only be cut at the points indicated by the manufacturer. Before installation, check the length of each section, connection type and required power supply. Long runs may need to be powered from more than one point to prevent a visible loss of brightness.

An aluminium profile for LED strips improves the finish, helps dissipate heat and protects the installation. For bathrooms, terraces, façades and areas exposed to moisture, choose a suitable IP rating and ensure that all connections and ends are properly sealed.
