How to choose an E27 LED bulb

Before ordering, check that the luminaire uses an E27 fitting and measure the available space. Although all these bulbs use the same screw cap, their height and diameter can vary significantly between a standard bulb, a globe bulb and a decorative model.

To determine the actual amount of light, compare the number of lumens rather than wattage alone. Wattage indicates electricity consumption, while lumens measure brightness. This makes it easier to replace an older incandescent bulb with an LED alternative that provides similar illumination while consuming much less energy.
